I am trying to locate a furniture maker by
the name of S. Kent And Bros. That is the best I can make
out on the bottom of two rockers that I have owned for a
number of years. I recently saw a small ding set that is
black just like my chairs with a maple insert. It had a
design on the back that matches my rockers. A small fruit
bowl with two apples in it I realize you are not in the
business of furniture making, however I hope you can help
me. I can also make out the name Gardner, Mass. on the
bottom. I would appreciate your help, more than you can

thought was a civil war camp stove. It was made by C.O.& G.S.
Company there in Gardner, Mass. It is a Union model label
but no other info or markings. I was hoping you could give

regard to a Liberty Bench that I have. I'm not sure if you
can help me out or not. I also have a certificate here "In
Commemoration of the 1776-1976 Bicentennial This Liberty
Bench is registered with the Standard of Gardner in the year
1976" and its signed. Whenever I try to look it up online

to give my son who now lives in CA this photo for his
birthday. He climbed it many times during his life here in
NE. Could you tell me whether there are poster sized prints

I am trying to identify a piece of wooden
furniture made in Winchendon, Mass. The piece looks like a
small table -- the top portion is about the size of a tv
tray and had a leaf (long lost), although the piece can
still be used without the missing piece. There are four
removable legs that fit, when stored, under the table top.
The stamped information on the piece says something about it
being patented in 1888 and made by "M.E. Converse and
Company, Winchendon, Mass."
The piece belonged to my neighbor's father -- my neighbor is
now 72. Can you give me any information or direct me as to
finding out more? |

things...Why are their rocking horses everywhere and why is
